a year spent submerged in color
-watching clouds blanket the ocean changing the color of the sea from blue to gray to indigo to purple to pink to oyster in a very short time
-traveling in northern baja, western colorado, spain, france, coastal california and the desert southwest: new inspirations, new art, new journals, new palettes

-returning to my colorado roots provided some time to teach a few multi day mixed-media workshops with the ahh ha school in telluride
-a long held desire to put some of my art onto wine labels finally panned out with a playful series of new labels designed for delicious new wines by cured in boulder colorado
-travelling through france to visit museums and galleries
- and most satisfying of all: filling those quiet covid wary months in the studio, completing two very large paintings and a multitude of smaller ones
